Location: Plantation, FL

Skillset / Experience:

This is a hands-on senior software development and systems operations role supporting our clients build and release automation services. In this position, you will be part of a team building, evaluating, and deploying our client's software stack.

You will help choose and deploy commercial and open-source tools and technologies to build and support a professional software engineering environment, with an emphasis on operational self-service and continuous integration.

 

Qualifications:

•             Experience with Git and Git internals.Experience with Gerrit installation and configuration.

•             Experience with Gerrit database management and maintenance.

•             Experience with Gerrit customization and plugin development.

•             Experience with Linux system administration

•             Experience with high availability design and load balancing.

•             Knowledge of Git and Gerrit from user perspective.

•             Extremely comfortable with Linux, shell-scripting, git

•             Expertise in performing and automating systems administration tasks using two or more of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, FabricExperience installing and configuring a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis

•             Familiar with virtual machines such as VMWare and VirtualBox, and containers such as Docker and LXC

•             Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies

•             Strong communication skills and the desire to teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise
