Primary Initiative:
Is responsible for facilitating the research, prototyping and development of automated analytics solutions utilizing existing data and systems. well as new AI and machine learning platforms.
We are developing a dashboard that contains a map of the relationship between every process in our IT environment. This dashboard will be sent alerts from three monitoring systems that we have running 24/7. When something goes down or slows, it will send an alert to the dashboard which will calculate which other processes are affected by the outage.
The dashboard is written in AngularJS
Secondary Initiative:
• Through demonstrated software development experience and the use of new technologies, this role will help guide the future direction of solutions and efficiencies across the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Revises Java AngularJS code of the Outage Dashboard.
Integrates the dashboard with active production testing systems such as Splunk, EV and MARS
Works in cooperation with other teams Perform system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation, although specific skill requirements could vary based on the type of development being performed Work independently and with supervisory review on highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions. Prepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts.
Required Skills:
• 6+ years software development experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Full knowledge of common software design patterns • 4+ years experience with AngularJS • Experience working with browser delivered solutions preferred • Ability to interpret business requirements • Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Mac Must have Splunk
