DevOps /Cloud Engineer
Location: Knoxville, TN
12 months contract
Interview process: Phone & Skype
Experience:
• Minimum of 6 years Systems Administration experience in Linux is required.
• Experience in Windows is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of software development is preferred.
• Experience with Perl and/or other scripting languages are required.
• Experience with engineering Cloud Computing environments in AWS is required.
• Experience in devops and configuration automation tooling such as Puppet and/or Chef is required.
• Experience in the following areas is a plus: Jboss, tomcat, Tibco EMS, Aspera,
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
• A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
• CI/CID pipeline development and integration.
