Job Description:

• Develop high quality multi-platform software components as part of a team geared towards software security solutions.
• Participate on teams of Project Managers, Solutions Architects and other Solution Engineers.
• Provide work estimates to be used in project planning.
• Provide status updates to be used in project tracking.
• Deploy, configure and test software solutions.
• Assist in designing workflows, new processes, data flows and integrations with existing systems and business practices.
• Create, execute and support customer acceptance test plans for software solutions.
• Provide the first tier of support for technical questions on software functionality from end-users, internal and external customers.
• Support operating system hardening for UNIX and Windows platforms.
• Network-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) deployment and rule tuning.

• Requirements:
• Must possess solid troubleshooting expertise and passion/drive for information security.
• 2-5+ years' experience developing software components.
• 2-5+ years' experience in C/C++, UNIX scripting, PKI, TLS/SSL.
• 2-5+ years' experience in the design and development of real-time, mission-critical software technologies.
• 2+ years of experience creating technical documentation (requirements, high and low level design documents, etc).
• Strong understanding of common software development and testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong knowledge NERC Critical Information Protection (CIP) Regulations
• Strong knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must also have in-depth knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, senior management and executives and project teams.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
• BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field
