This position is for an experienced programmer to work on a team developing a Windows 8 Store App for HP PCs and Tablets.
Client: Hewlett Packard
Position: .net Developer Sr.
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 6-12 Months, Rate: $DOE
Interview Mode: Phone/Skype,
Work Authorization (I-797) Copy required for H1s
Immediate required .net Developer Sr./ Palo Alto, CA
The following experience is required:
Windows 8 Store (a.k.a., Modern or Metro) App certified and present in Microsoft Store
4 years C# / .NET application development
Asynchronous Programming using C# 5.0 constructs ( await / async )
Networking technologies: HTTP/HTTPS, UDP, TCP and REST
XAML based UX design
The following experience is desirable: SQL, LINQ Query Operations and SOAP.
Education required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
The responsibilities of this position include:
Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for Windows 8 Store Apps
Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture
Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
