Use statistical and programming tools such as R and Python to analyze data and develop machine-learning models.  

               

Ø  3-5 years of work experience

Ø  Proficient in predictive modeling:

Ø  Linear and logistic regression

Ø  K-means clustering

Ø  Tree based techniques (CART, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting)

Ø  Familiarity with time-series Optimization

Ø  Text analytics

Ø  Collaborative Filtering

Ø  Anomaly detection

Ø  Survival Analysis preferred

Ø  Skilled with R analysis environment

Ø  Experience with big-data machine learning, e.g. RevoScaleR, MLlib, Mahout

Ø  Experience with SQL, Excel, Powerpoint

Ø  Programming in Python and Java

Ø  Experienced in UNIX command line utilities (sed, awk, Makefile, etc.)

Ø  Basic Hadoop skills preferred
