Position: Oracle DBA

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 3 months

 

At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes

At least 4 years of hands on  Oracle Database administration expertise

At least 3 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment

At least 4 years' experience in installing, configuring, managing and monitoring of ASM (Automatic Storage management) for both Standalone, Standby(Data guard) and RAC databases

At least  7 years strong hands on experience of Installation, Upgrade and Configuration of  Oracle 8i,9i,10g and 11g Databases 

Experience configuring physical and logical Standby databases (Data Guard) for BCP/DRP (Business continuity plan and Disaster Recovery Plan) on various windows and UNIX platforms

Hands on experience in Patch maintenance

Experience in capacity planning, Security Administration and performance management

Hands on experience in writing shell scripts for automating various database activities like service availabliity,backup and recovery, performance tuning and managing archive data and dump and trace files

Experience  in solution design / configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment 

Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also be able to work in team environment

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Good analytical, communication, talent management and project management  skills

Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment.
