Job Title : UI Architect 

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6 Months

 The ideal candidate will be designing and developing complex user flows in a single page web application (AngularJS) to provide first class user experience. Integrating with Java RESTful API backend services. Strong JavaScript and programming abilities. We are using Bootstrap and LESS for styling. Grunt for build process.

 

Responsibilities

• Design and development of practical software solutions to business requirements constrained by time, resources, and infrastructure • Developing cross- browser/devices user interfaces that target multiple browsers and devices. • Developing web interfaces using adaptive and responsive design patterns.

• Participate in architecture discussions and decisions

• Participate in API design

• Interact with product owners, designers, and technical staff

• Experience in developing interactive user interface design and layouts

• Experience with developing wireframes for the application and implementation of same using AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and CSS

• Experience with client side MVC or MV* frameworks and template libraries, AngularJS, Backbone, React, Underscore, Handlebars etc.

• Experience with RESTful service and UI integration using JSON and AJAX a must.

• Experience with libraries such as jQuery, Highcharts, RequireJS, prototype.js are nice to have.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and cross browser development • Knowledge of CSS and JS optimization

• Experience with software engineering process tools preferred (yo, bower, grunt, GIT, some sort of continuous integration - CI)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required; masters preferred • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• NodeJS and .NET server experience is a plus

• Experience with SASS or LESS CSS tool
