Position:                Mechanical Engineer

Location:               Sellersburg, IN

Duration:              6+ Months

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be part of an engineering team that develops and maintains mechanical and electromechanical product designs. You'll execute detailed component and product level designs, 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software.  This position is specifically to work with New Product Development projects with the Beverage dispensing equipment team.  Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this position is located in Sellersburg, IN.

Essential Job Functions:

• Support all initiatives related to engineering and participate with the engineering group to solve technical problems

• Provides accurate and prompt completion of 3D models, detailed drawings and stablish bills of materials

• Works with product engineers to best determine how to meet the customer's needs with reasonable equipment designs and functions. 

• Communicates ideas and participates in projects geared towards new product development of customer satisfaction, speed of service, and drawing accuracy.

• Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical; with a minimum of 2 years of product engineering experience implementing New Product Development and/or continuous improvement projects , preferably in the commercial or residential kitchen or appliance industry

• Experience with Pro-E

• Ability to think and problem solve analytically and creatively with strong communication skills both verbal and in written form
