Role : DevOps Engineer

Non Production Environment Support
· A non-production environment support team member would typically be responsible for managing all deployment & configuration changes for projects in a given release. Some changes will be implemented directly by the team member, while others will require working with other groups to perform the change.
· The team member will also be responsible to ensure that these changes are distributed throughout all other non-production environments as well. The team member will also need to troubleshoot issues with the environment to minimize downtime and the upstream effect on projects and their deliverables in our complex multi-level environment stacks.
· The Environment team manages the 15+ pre-production environments for all stages in the development cycle as well as the development of the implementation plan for production deployment. The environment contains multiple operating systems and platforms including ATG, Endeca, JBOSS, Apache, Solaris, Linux, Oracle and Akamai.
· Good communication and documentation are essential in this position. Potential exists for this position to become a FTE.
· The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a level 2 production or preproduction support role, preferably in an e-commerce or health benefit management related company.
Requirements:
· Unix Scripting (Bash, Python, etc)
· Jmeter
Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of:
· Apache
· Websphere
· JBoss
· Node.js
· Vordel
· DBPL
Oracle (or alternative opensource DBs)
· ATG
· IBM Sterling OMS
Application Specific Knowledge (Familiarity) with:
· IP Networking (Firewall, DNS, Load Balancers)
· CDN (Akamai)
