Duration : 6+ months
Job Description – DevOps "Puppet" Engineer
• Must have extensive and strong working knowledge on Puppet in the following areas:
o Can create Innovation with Puppet
o Installation
o Configuration
o Automation
o Troubleshooting
o Maintenance for the purpose of continuous integration (CI)
o End to End automation experience to support build, new deployments and new releases
• 8+ years of experience in IT industry as Build and Release/DevOps Engineering in automating, building, deploying, and releasing of code from one environment to other environment, including Operations, Systems Administration and Software Configuration Management (SCM) and automation.
• Exposed to all aspects of software life cycle such as Analysis, Planning, Design, Implementation and Post-production of the projects. \
• Designed and automated Branching Models for different development projects.
• Strong knowledge in CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies.
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology (Scrum), Kanban and Waterfall.
• Worked on web servers like Apache and application servers like Web logic, Tomcat, WebSphere, and BOSS.
• Excellent communication skills required, team membership and relationship management skills.
