Job Description:
Responsible for design, further development and integration or testing of existing software features. Learns and follows all current guidelines and processes. Possesses basic skills and hands-on experience in software development, debugging and testing techniques. Identifies and fixes defects. May be responsible for technical assistance to other software engineers in the team, but requires little supervision with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities: The duty is to take the software apps from requirement analysis to final software acceptance and to complete the whole project life cycle, to meet all major project schedules, and provide timely communication to project management. Responsible for design, further development and integration or testing of existing software features. Participates in design review and code review activity. Learns and follows all current guidelines and processes. Analyzes product requirements and verifies that software complies with the company established requirements. Performs debugging on software, identifies defects and modifies code to make fixes. Perform unit tests on each bug fix or code change. Identifies or investigates defects in the current software. Creates reports on software features and defects. Provides weekly status reports. Responsible for day to day process improvement activities. Assists with improving and keeping up to date documentation and practices. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: MS or B.Sc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant industry experience. Strong software development skills in JAVA, C/C++. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate must be proficient in the following programing tools and languages: MS suite, Python, HTML, XML, parsing, BML, SFDC
