Job Description:
A Global Investment Management company based in Downtown Manhattan is seeking a strong Senior Python developer with MS SQL Experience. Python (80%) MS SQL SERVER (20%). Client is looking for a candidate who will bring their solid python exposure/experience to the existing team. There is an opportunity for growth and leadership for selected candidate.
Selected candidate will be working on existing MS SQL based data warehouse which involves developing and supporting ETLs in data warehouse. The client is expected to be adding some additional databases (nosql / Mongodb). So there will be some work with Mongodb. Mongo Db experience is an added advantage. Currently there is some development work building an extract framework and data governance framework on top of the warehouse. There are also future projects planned to work with quantitative strategy team that will leveraging Python.
