Technical Architect (Linux/Unix environment) - Client ID Directory related services

Serve as lead technician for Client ID Directory related services.

 

Position : Technical Architect (Linux/Unix environment)

Location : Albany,  NY

Duration : 24 Month

Short Description :

 

Client Offers several of the components of an Enterprise Identity and Access Management service and is a loosely coupled shared service offering comprised of best of breed technologies such as LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory services, web-based SSO access management, and standards-based federation. Client is currently supporting more than 14 million users and over 750 applications across several state agencies.

 

Day to day tasks to be performed by the Consultant :

 

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

·         Perform analysis for Client customers' application security requirements. Work with staff to develop Company security model.

·         Serve as lead technician for Client ID Directory related services.

·         Plan and implement timely upgrades to Directory systems.

·         Work as a member of a Company ID Services group to provide Directory support for applications.

·         Develop and maintain system documentation and current change control procedures.

·         Work with support personnel as required regarding implementing server infrastructure, resolving system failures, and developing customized functionality to meet specialized program area requirements.

·         Coordinate installation and maintenance of system.

 

Software with the Data Center support and operations groups

 

•             Diagnose and assist company ID team and customers to resolve complex directory problems

•               Adhere to ITS policies, procedures and standards

•               Implement changes to Development and Quality

 

Assurance Client ID environments prior to production

 

•             Perform approved production changes scheduled in off-hour maintenance windows as assigned

•               Must be available to work extra upon need for unscheduled problems and emergencies

 

Mandatory Qualifications :

 

·         84 months experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting, tuning and maintaining Oracle/Sun Directory Server in a Linux/Unix environment 

 

·         60 months experience installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting Directory Proxy Server in a Linux/Unix environment

 

·         60 months experience supporting Oracle/Sun Directory Server with a large-scale deployment of over 1,000,000 seats. (Please indicate both length of experience and size of environment.)

 

·         60 months experience using Oracle/Sun Directory Server as the Policy Store for CA SiteMinder with a large scale environment of 1,000,000 seats. (Please indicate both length of experience and size of environment)

 

·         60 months experience working with Oracle/Sun's Java, System/Apache Web Server
