Position: SharePoint Administrator with WordPress and C#

Location: Crownsville, MD

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $35/hour on C2C

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain and Administration of enterprise SharePoint farms that includes the content deployment jobs, security, monitoring, user administration and backups

·         Maintaining the multi network Wordpress environments, ensuring that the site with latest software updates, backups and other maintenance tasks

·         Performing the change requests to hence and modifications to the applications

·         Provide the support to Content publishers on technical issues and provide appropriate action /coordination to resolve those issues

·         Microsoft SQL server and MySQL database administration includes import, export, Backup & restore Management, Database tuning and SQL Troubleshooting

·         Windows server and Red hat Linux administration skills around managing SharePoint and Wordpress applications

·         Maintaining the web front ends on load balancer for SharePoint and Wordpress environments

·         Troubleshooting and deployments of all aspects of internet facing public sites

·         Managing Servers in a VMware Virtual Environment and AWS environment.

·         Windows update server and System center operation manager Administration

·         Installing the SharePoint and windows updates

·         Development with PHP, C#, ASP.NET,JSON, JQuery, MVC and Web Services

·         Development of SharePoint Solutions such as web parts and other components with Server or Client Side Object Model

 

Job Requirements:

·         A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

·         Must have seven (7) years of General IT experience

·         Experience with SharePoint and Wordpress enterprise environments

·         Strong knowledge of Infrastructure platforms including windows, Linux, SAN , Virtualization   (VMWare) and open source solutions

·         Practical knowledge and experience with Internet/Extranet/Intranet-facing environments

·         Experience with virtualized server environment and Cloud computing a plus

·         Experience with Programming Languages c# and php

·         Experience with maintaining the high availability SQL server databases and MySQL databases including the database servers

·         Development experience with ASP.net including the creation of custom Web parts, Apps, SharePoint Solutions

·         Experience with word press

·         Strong oral and written communications skills
