Primary Skills:           cloud, IAAS, Dell XC Series, Nutanix, KVM Hypervisor

 

Job Description:

 

v  Strong Linux and/or Unix administration skills

v  Experience with virtualization technologies

v  Experience with configuration management of systems at scale

v  Strong knowledge of cloud, IAAS and service oriented infrastructure

v  Strong work ethic, attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills

v  Will have administrative access to a production server that is required for resolving L2 issues

v  Review error and audit logs

v  Work with other Third-Parties, I.T. staff, and end users to troubleshoot problems with server applications

v  Monitor system performance, performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and analyses cause of performance problems

v  Exercise judgment using procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action

v  Assist in the distribution of new patches

v  Experience with Dell XC Series Hardware Platforms running Nutanix Enterprise Cloud solutions preferred

v  Familiar with Volume Management (LVM, Veritas, etc.)

v  Prefer experience in KVM Hypervisor
