Basic Purpose:

MFS is looking for a Java developer who can assist with the ongoing buildout and deployment of their Devops environment including, Jenkins, GIT, Appscan, SonarQube, Nexus, Maven, Jira, Confluence, etc.  

This person will be responsible for assisting with ongoing support, rollout of new applications and enhancing existing reporting and dashboard capabilities developed in Jenkins using groovy and Java.  

Responsibilities: 

• Act as a point of contact for all internal and external deployment questions and issues.

• Work with Release Manager, IT Solutions Development to consistently review and improve the practices and processes.

• Maintain existing documentation

• Assist development teams with communication and reporting to Senior IT and Business staff on the schedules.

 

Skills include:

• 8+ years of experience in developing core java and j2ee applications

• Strong knowledge and experience with Jenkins

• Strong knowledge and experience with GIT (Bitbucket preferred)

• Experience configuring Nexus to Maven

• Knowledge of or experience with Groovy programming

• Knowledge of or experience with IBM Appscan

• Experience with Oracle or SQLServer

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and management skills
