Primary Skills:            Informatica administration, power center

 

Job Description:

 

v  10 to 15+ years of experience with Informatica administration of the power center domain.

v  6 + years of experience with Informatica administration of connectors, cloud, proactive monitoring, metadata manager, and Data Quality

v  Solid understanding of ETL/Database best practices and leading industry standards.

v  Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and relational databases.

v  Knowledge of Hadoop is a plus.

v  Experience working with the Agile SDLC methodology.

v  Experience implementing automation capabilities and knowledge of DevOps methodologies and best practices.

v  Comfortable working with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.

v  Experience with scripting (PowerShell, REST, SOAP) for task automation.

v  Ability to manage time and work independently with minimal supervision.

v  Self-motivated with the ability to complete objectives without requiring constant managerial oversight.

v  hands-on and strong understanding of Data warehouse concepts

v  Should possess the ability to set up repositories , users , security management

v  Ability to restart/reboot the server

v  Maintain/ manage the security aspects and create folders as per the requirement

v  Should have knowledge on Informatica Architecture and installation process
