Big Data Developer
Preferably local to Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL, or they can relocate to CHI or MPLS that is fine as well.
They're really wanting someone who has worked in the healthcare vertical previously
Submittal Rate: $50/-hr c2c
Phone and F2f
Contract Time Frame: 6 month - 24 months
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Can work in Chicago with 2-3 weeks travel to client (better) or on-site at Wallingford CT or Salt Lake City UT (prefer someone who will work out of Chicago or MPLS office and travel to/from client on occasion)
Role: Develop, maintain, test fully automated cloud based big data solutions
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with Big Data ingestion and transformation
- Willingness and excitement to work in a big data cloud platform environment
- Required (1 or more): AWS EMR, Spark, Hive, Presto, Parque; Nice to have: Hadoop, HDFS, OCR
- AWS: EMR, S3; Nice to have: Aurora, DynamoDB, EMR, Lambda, S3, SNS, CloudWatch
- Python, Java a plus
- Talend and/or other ETL package a plus
- Automated Software Deployment
- Workflow Process Automation
- Healthcare data a plus
- Data modeling a plus
