Senior Web UI Developer 

The role is a web UI developer with strong experience with Javascript and CSS.  

React.js work experience is REQUIRED for the role.

Client is a leader in providing electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes.  Our platforms are used by 19 of the top 20 largest asset managers to execute trades, as well as manage post trade settlement processes.

The targeted product is a sophisticated electronic trading system built on JEE and Oracle on the server side and state-of-the-art HTML5 on the front end.  The product is expanding both vertically with new features and also horizontally into new asset classes including ETF, Time Deposit and FX.

The role is a web UI developer with strong experience with Javascript and CSS.  React.js work experience is REQUIRED for the role.

Qualifications:

•    BA degree or equivalent.

•    Senior level web UI development experience.   At least recent 6-12+ months React + Redux experience is required.

•    Excellent knowledge of core web technologies including DOM, javascript and CSS.

•    Experience working with at least one modern javascript library such as React.js, Ext JS, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Bootstrap etc.

•    A passion for building meaningful visualizations on the web.

•    A strong sense of craftsmanship.

•    Screenshots of past work or an online portfolio is highly desirable.

Further Notes:

•    This is a hands-on senior developer position within a small development team. 

•    Any working experience with real-time technologies such as websocket is a huge plus
