Job Description

• A minimum of five years' experience in risk management, compliance or auditing.
• Technical expertise in assigned business activities (i.e., Technology Operations, SDLC methodologies).
• An in depth understanding or prior experience in complex business activities unique to financial industry.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and analytical skills required.
• Experience in applying risk management concepts.
• Demonstrated project management experience including large scale projects and programs.
• Currently holds or has the ability to obtain a professional certification (CISSP,CCSP,CRISC)
• Familiarity with NIST Frameworks and other industry best practices
• Well-known Cloud Provider Certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans and performs risk assessments to identify risks, exposures, and controls relating to processes and project initiatives.
• Leads walk-throughs to obtain an understanding of the process. 
• Documents process workflows and  narratives, highlighting key controls and potential gaps
• Working knowledge of common /industry cloud standards. 
• Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services. 
• Experience working with cloud security and server virtualization technologies. 
• Communicates progress of the assessment work and concerns to stakeholders and business leadership. 
• Leverage and analyze risk data points (e.g., internal and external events, metrics) to validate residual risk.
• Provide advice on control design leveraging industry best practices where possible.
