Job Title: Backend Developer

Duration: 4+Months

Location: Bethesda, MD

 H1b, GC, GC-EAD, USC, TN

 

Skills required 

 

·         Able to develop Java REST services and consume REST services

·         Familiarity with use of Spring annotations and Hibernate useful. 

·         Platform is Tomcat with Java 1.8 on Linux, 

·         Hands on experience with SQL, PL/SQL and PostgresSQL on RHEL environment 

·         Talking to an internal Postgres DB, CouchBase DB and external REST APIs (Gigya, Facebook, TripAdvisor).

·         Developing web applications using Java

·         Writing the back-ends of modern open-source web applications;

·         Developing and executing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests;

·         Configuring and executing load and performance testing;

·         Developing backend web applications that integrate with relational and non-relational database systems;
