Job Description: - Hyperion Essbase

·         Working experience with EPM security user configuration and entitlements

·         Must be able to gain EPM (Essbase and Hyperion Planning) process knowledge and take action to improve (simplify) existing monthly process

·         Experience in creating support technical documents for EPM processes

·         Must be able to effectively communicate with the business team and provide Smartview functional training to end users

·         Must be able to partner effectively with the EPM development team to enhance the existing EPM operations

·         Working knowledge of cron and Autosys                             

 

Roles:

·         Provide technical Essbase support for multiple business domain functions supporting the CFPA profitability planning processes

·         Execute user entitlement access user requests for Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion and Strategic Finance

·         Provide technical support across the following technical domains (LINUX/OS scripts, Oracle integration (Peoplesoft, OFSA, Oracle DB, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Reports, DRM)

·         Provide user support for Smartview and Hyperion Reports         

·         Execute, research, and resolve incident tickets                 

·         Communicate effectively with business community to address functional and technical questions           

·         Partner with EPM development team to enhance the operations of the Essbase and Hyperion Planning environment    

·         Absorb and become the Essbase and Hyperion Planning support expert during knowledge transition activities for newly created EPM process functions

·         Will be working under tight deadlines to meet critical operational monthly cycle routines
