Role: Lead Java Developer/ Backend Developer/ Akka framework

Location: San Mateo, CA

Duration of contract: Long term

Interview: Phone/ Skype

Client: persistent

 

Must have skills:-
Scala, Java, Akka framework or Java messaging framework, SBT (Scala build toolkit), REST API, SOAP API, RDBMS

 

Technical Skills :-    

Looking for a person who will lead the PSPL-deployed team towards completing functional requirements.

The back-end developer should also be the most senior, and should have worked as a senior software engineer in the past.

The back-end developer will help design and develop the APIs that serve the front-end.

In addition, the back-end developer should also have knowledge of data engineering, and will be working with the Data Extraction and Data Science teams to create models that could be custom-fitted to Customer.

They are looking for developers with Scala expertise, preferably having worked with the Akka framework.

In the absence of Akka framework experience, this person should be experienced with a Java messaging framework.

In addition, the senior developer should also have experience with SBT, the build toolkit most popular with Scala.
