Position Responsibilities:

Position Information
1. Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (3+ years' experience in technical skills listed)

2. Mid-Level SQL Server Database Administrator (1-3 years' experience in technical skills listed)

3. BS degree in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

1.       Work Location Preference: Dayton, OH & Cincinnati, Ohio

Client interfacing skills

Problem resolution and remediation skills

Required Skills - Technical Database
Prior experience as a SQL Server production DBA in medium-to-large complex environments 
SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014; SQL Server 2016 (a plus)

Skills in the following areas
SQL Server Configuration/Installation/Upgrades

SQL Server High Availability Architectures (Replication/Clustering, etc.)
SQL Server Backup/Disaster Recovery Methodologies
SQL Server Performance and Tuning
SQL Server Migration/Replication
SQL Server Security Best Practices

SQL Always On Availability Groups

Transact SQL

Capacity Planning/Strategies
Database Design
Data Mining
Storage Management
Application Debugging
SQL Server Management Studio

SQL Server Profiler

SQL Server Database Engine Tuning Advisor

SQL Server Data Tools

SQL Server SSIS or other ETL tools
SQL Server SSRS/SSAS (a plus)

SQL Enterprise and Standard Editions

Preferred Skills: 
Windows Servers, Linux

Cloud – Microsoft Azure, AWS, others.

Tools – Quest Foglight for SQL, Quest Foglight Performance Investigator, Quest Foglight for VM/Storage

CRM Apps, Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence experience

Participation with IT and Database teams related to complex database projects.

Microsoft Certifications

Virtualization – VM Ware, Hyper-V

Previous consulting/contracting experience in medical/health services industries
Oracle and My SQL experience
