Job Title: Windows Amdin with Virtualization

Job Location: Chico, CA

Duration: 6+Months

Mode of Interview: Phone then Skype

VISA:USC ONLY

Client and I spoke and realized that we should probably reemphasize the focus of this role. 

While we want to have someone with virtualization experience we don't need a vmware "expert". 

Primarily this should be someone who is an expert at windows administration. 

It will still be important that they have experience with virtualization(Vmware) but the things highlighted below should be the focus.  We need help with general windows infrastructure work. 

Patching, server builds, Experience with SCCM(Systems Center configuration manager – used for patching and virus protection) and SCOM (Systems center Operations Manager – used for monitoring the server infrastructure.)

 Required for virtualization/windows admin

·         Deep experience in enterprise Server Patching

-          Evaluate, recommend, and implement patching of operating systems of various versions and complexity (Windows Server) in cooperation with the business, app support teams, and help desk

·         Deep experience with Microsoft System Center (Orchestrator, SCOM, and Configuration Manager) operational support (configuration, utilization, deployments, etc.)

·         Must be intimately familiar with VMWare VDI and VSphere infrastructure builds and operations

·         Experienced with Virus Protection Exclusions and Deployment configuration and cleanup within system center configuration manager and system center endpoint protection

·         Function as an internal tester within IT for new implementations

·         Demonstrated experience in enterprise GPO clean up within Active Directory

·         Demonstrated experience with enterprise Active Directory Management/Cleanup

·         Demonstrated Print server builds, deployment, stabilization, and management

·         Experience with User account cleanup
