The NC Department of Transportation Web Services group is seeking an Expert Level SharePoint Developer Architect for its internal and public facing SharePoint implementations.
The NC Department of Transportation Web Services group is seeking an Expert Level SharePoint Developer Architect for its internal and public facing SharePoint implementations. The person will be responsible for developing and managing applications developed within the NCDOT SharePoint environment, analyzing other business units needs, developing custom solutions to include timer jobs, workflows, event receivers within SharePoint, developing scripts using PowerShell to update and modify the SharePoint environment in bulk, and Developing custom apps with SharePoint using CSOM in C#, JavaScript or any other required language. Support end users and other Teams using SharePoint. Work with Customers to define ideal site metadata, layout, structure, storage and information architecture.
Able to understand complex requests from customers and analyze to provide an ideal solution whether in SharePoint or not.
Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills.
Creates maintainable solutions across multiple farms, site collections and tiers in C#.
Able to work with Change Management systems to deploy code and manage solutions.
Able to use TFS for Agile development and GIT for source repository.
Ability to work with and assist SharePoint administrator team with scripting efforts as required.
Build interfaces powered by the Search REST API or CSOM in SharePoint 2013
Able to use SharePoint Information Architecture to provide optimal search experiences.
Configure sites to use a wide array of custom SharePoint Permissions using active directory.
Guide other designers on the team to define and follow standards
Creation/editing of list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages, as well as pages containing static HTML content with a focus on using out of the box functionality.
Design and creation of interfaces for our clients using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SharePoint
Creation and editing of SharePoint Display Templates to realize a desired outcome.
Clearly communicating status reports, in verbal and written form.
Collaborating as a dedicated team member and demonstrating the ability to clearly communicate with other team members.

Visual Studio 2015 / C# SharePoint development Required 7 Years

SharePoint Designer experience Required 7 Years
Ability to create, configure and update pages in SharePoint using Web Parts Required 7 Years
Ability to effectively organize and present large amounts of content to end users Required 7 Years
CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery Required 7 Years
Microsoft Office Required 7 Years
Querying data on the front end via REST or client-side frameworks like Angular.js Required 7 Years
Experience with SharePoint page editing and front end design/branding experience Required 7 Years
Experience with customizing the SharePoint settings that define the look and feel of SharePoint sites Required 7 Years
Experience in working with developers integrating web applications into SharePoint Required 7 Years
