Title: Voice Design Engineer (VOIP)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 months

 

 

Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Network Engineer to assist in the planning, forecasting, implementation and identification of resource requirements for network systems (including wireless and VoIP) of moderate complexity.  You will create detailed design, technical requirements and service specifications, and present architecture, design and technical choices to internal audiences.

 

Required Skills:

•         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; or, equivalent work experience.

•         5 - 8 years of IT work experience in Infrastructure/ Network Environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation.

•         6+ years of Digital Network Architecture (DNA), Network and VoIP experience.

•         Experience with SIP, IMS, Broadsoft, SBCs, Red Hat (Linux), Networking and Security.

•         Expertise with OSPF is required.

•         Previous communications and/or carrier experience is a plus.

•         Knowledge of Cisco is a plus.

•         Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills.
