Technical Skills & Knowledge: 

 

Primary Skills: IBM, Cobol, Assembler, CICS

 

Responsibilities:

 

- About 5 years' experience in mainframe application development

- Experience Assembler / Mainframe programmer Skills:

- Assembler MQ ACF2 GTF (IDMS now) – Ray Lamb / Vince Gibson - General Table Facility (in house) CICS System Program DB2 Helpful COBOL 

- Research, analyze, design, develop, unit test, and implement complex software applications and services

- Maintain current applications including enhancements, bug fixes, and performance tuning

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues

- Provide recommendations for application and system improvements

- Maintain advanced knowledge in current and emerging technologies

- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team member

- To support current processes while looking for innovative ideas way to streamline and improve.

- Liaison between the customer and development team.
