LOCALs  – F2F interview..!!!.

 

 Design and maintain statistical models powering production data products.

• Design, implement and test algorithms using your choice of languages (R, python, etc.) against production and test data sets.
• Act as a data consultant in recommending the right tools/libraries to solve big data problems.
• As part of the data team you will be interacting with all major functional teams, such as Search, Map, Auto and Mobile.

 Desired skills: 

• Master's degree in data science, computer science or machine learning.
• Demonstrable experience applying statistical models to real-world data sets.
• Programming experience in R, SQL, Java, Python, etc.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies (MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Yarn, Storm), understands the concepts and technology ecosystem around both real-time and batch processing in Hadoop.
• We use AWS extensively, so experience with EMR, Redshift and other services will help you hit the ground running.
• Strong skills in machine learning, data mining and statistical analysis required
