This position is primarily responsible for developing tools and automation solutions in MS Access using VBA, Visual Studio and SharePoint. Applicants should have strong experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, or other data languages. In-depth experience in data migration heterogeneous sources (including Mainframe, Server and PC environments) and provide Audit, Quality & Control framework to manage the data file transfers supporting CoE division. Requires strong ability to analyze business requirements and transform into technical solutions.
This position should be able to contribute to all phases of the application development life-cycle while adhering to the SDLC methodology. Write software code, test, debug, and document and maintain computer applications. Identify coding errors through informal and formal testing methods. Develop documentation as required by the SDLC and production change control procedures, including installation and operating procedures, data flow diagrams and flowcharts. Train and mentor other team members and other duties may be assigned.
Under general direction and coaching, should be able to enhance and maintain existing applications. Identify and promote alternate solutions that improve functional design or overall delivery efficiency. Provide data and analytical support for corporate work driver efforts as well as process improvement initiatives. This position has frequent customer interaction and the successful candidate must have proven abilities to extract and analyze requirements from customers at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and customer service oriented skills are required.

Four (4) to Six (6) years experience in VBA Programming of MS Access 2007 (or higher), Visual Studio 2013 (or higher) and SharePoint 2010 (or higher) in developing automations, end-user applications, and/or user-interfaces with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong experience in Relational and Multi-Dimensional Database Architectures with strong working experience in Oracle, SAS, Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, BIDS to develop business solutions. With a knowledge of data warehousing and data mining concepts including but not limited to ETL, datamart design, fact tables, dimension tables, OLAP, ROLAP, and data models such as Star Schemas and Snowflake Schemas.
Strong Visio experience to support documentation as required by the SDLC, production change control procedures, operating procedures, data flow diagrams and flowcharts.

Knowledge of the health insurance industry is preferred.
Experience with other reporting and data analytical BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, SSAS, Webfocus.
Proven analysis experience required including operational analysis, data analysis, and problem resolution type activities.
