- As an Embedded Bluetooth Software Engineer, you will design and implement system software solutions to provide a high-performance, and robust embedded Bluetooth
platform to application teams.
- You will port and write device drivers, modify CPU firmware, and participate in low-level bring-up and debugging of new Bluetooth devices, including A/V players and remote controls.
- You will collaborate with hardware and software development teams contributing to a large ecosystem of networked devices and services.
- In addition, you will stay up to date with the Bluetooth and vendor technology roadmaps and participate in device certification.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years Linux or Android system development experience
- 3+ years experience developing Bluetooth drivers and libraries and familiarity with standard Bluetooth stacks such as BlueZ and Bluedroid
- Embedded system development experience
- Excellent C/C++ development and debugging skills
- Strong computer science fundamentals and communication skills
- Additional Relevant Experience:
- Development of Android or Linux applications or libraries
- Linux drivers for other device types
- Audio library or driver development
- Networking drivers, utilities, and protocol stacks such as Zigbee and Zwave
- Power management
