LOCAL ONLY

 

Position Title: Java Developer

 

Estimated Start Date: 2/28 or sooner

 

Hourly Rate: $40/-hr c2c

 

Role: SmartSource has a need for a Java Developer for a 6 month opportunity located in Columbus OH. Prefer local candidate but will take best available. Must be onsite as no remote work is available for this role. The responsibilities are as follows:

• Java Application Developer responsible for developing POS application & Web Application enhancements based on the requirements provided through functional requirements, wireframes and user stories.
• Meet the acceptance criteria and provide quality delivery of the product.
• Provide code coverage by creating all necessary test cases

We need someone with

• Strong Core Java Technologies
• Strong Client Server development skills and Debugging skill to find issues and resolve quickly
• Strong Latest Web Frameworks like Spring,
• Oracle POS development experience is a PLUS

 

Qualifications:

• Must pass a criminal and drug background check prior to starting
• Open to H1 visa holders only if they stay for the duration of the project
• 4 Years of Experience in following skills
• Web Frameworks: Spring, Struts, JSP, Servlets, HTM, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, Angular JS, Hibernate
• Web Services: SOAP, REST
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle
• Continuous Integration/Development Tools: SVN/GIT, JMeter, ANT, Maven, Artifactory, WebLogic, TeamCity, Jira Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and Sonar
• Server Tools : Apache Tomcat server, Jetty, JBoss, WebLogic
• Platforms : Windows, Linux
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
