 Job Description:

Job Description: The candidate will serve as the Principle Software Design Engineer working primarily in the Android embedded environment. The ideal candidate will have experience coding on the chipset with a strong background in performance improvement. This is a unique higher-level opportunity for someone with experience in embedded Android AOSP, ROM building, and big data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Work with remote teams across the globe to resolve performance issues on the chipset

·         Troubleshoot the code on the baseband to identify performance issues and performance enhancements

·         Aid in the identification of new architectural standards to meet the next generation requirements

·         Maintain the existing code base and also develop the new code base for a continuous flow of new handsets and devices

·         Work in a collaborative environment and provide subject matter expertise in the Android code development space

Required Job Skills

·         6+ years of embedded experience at the kernel level

·         Experience within an Android development environment

·         Experience building Android from source

·         Experience building Android from ROM

·         Android JAVA programming using JNI

·         Programming and design skills in JAVA/C++/Python, etc.

·         Experience in Jenkins and git

·         Experience with C and C++ in an embedded environment

Preferred Job Skills: 

·         Previous experience with programming language development

·         Previous experience with virtual machine

 Education: MS in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience

 Note: (It's not an android application developer role)

 Note: We are working with Tier-1 vendor requirement.
