Quality Engineer

 

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?

 

Clinical Data Exchange

 

Ability to write test cases and execute test cases independently

Work with business users, system analysts and Developers to create and analyze various required project documents

Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle

Create User Story/Defect Acceptance document.

Demo Test acceptance to Stake Holders.

Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and test plans.

Assist Test Automation Team to automate test cases.

Research and implement tools that support faster delivery with high quality

 

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

 

Intersystem Ensemble, ALM,Rally,7Edit,Soap UI (scheduled for installation),Interface Explorer, Ultra Edit, Altova XML spy, IPSwitch,

 

 

Skills/attributes are a must have:-

 

HL7 background, XML file processing, Web API testing

 

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

 

Healthcare Industry experience

Relational database experience

Scripting experience utilizing Python or VB Script
