Location: Atlanta, GA 

Duration: 6 + Months

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Years of related work experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing
  
• Hands on experience in configuring and maintaining Amazon Web Services which include services like Amazon EC2, VPC, Elastic Load Balancing (at least 1+ year)
  
• Proven experience with data warehousing, data ingestion, and data profiling
  
• Proficient in SQL
  
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and analytics techniques
  
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  
• Understanding of Agile project approaches and methodologies
  
• Proficient in a source code control system, such as Git
  
• Proficient in the Linux shell, including utilities such as SSH
  

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with implementing analytics solutions with one or more Hadoop distributions (Hortonworks, MapR, EMR)
  
• Proficient in Python and/or Java
  
• Implementing analytics solutions with Hadoop
  
• Experience with Agile / DevOps teams
