Job Description:
Focuses on technical issues and provides and/or suggests robust solutions in the context of COP environment and requirements. Interfaces with the business stakeholders to capture business requirements, suggests technology solutions, and drives technical discussions. Coordinates the allocation of work among project team members. Demonstrates sound knowledge of relevant processes. Possesses experience in integrations with other legacy applications, and proven experience managing projects and leading global cross-functional teams. Demonstrates strong communication & troubleshooting skills. Typically requires 7-10 years of experience. Senior level. Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field. Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems. Influences others to achieve objectives. Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset.
Competencies:
Hands on experience with Storm.
Must have verifiable project delivery experience in the past 24 months.
Prefer experience with 1.x code base.
Hands on experience with Kafka including delivery experience in the past 24 months.
Knowledge of complex event processing architectures, hub-and-spoke programing models and high data rate channel management techniques.
Java Programming (5-7 years)
