Title:                     AWS Lead Developer

Location:             Houston TX

Duration:             12+ Months

 

Need Lead Experience!!

 

Required Qualifications

Ø   Extensive development experience using Node.js, Node.js frameworks, RESTful web services, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS

Ø   2 year experience working with services in AWS such as EC2, RDS, ELB's and have knowledge of VPC's (AWS and/or RightScale knowledge a plus)

Ø   Strong experience in developing Cloud Formation scripts in Amazon AWS.

Ø   Prior experience in moving traditional 3-tier web applications to Amazon AWS hosted environment

Ø   2 years MySQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SOLR development experience, and able to explain the reasons behind selecting these solutions.

Ø   3 years using Java, Java Spring and associated frameworks

 

Preferred Qualifications

Ø  B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years' experience with full stack Web Application development using Node.js or Java

Ø  Extensive development experience using Node.js, Node.js frameworks, RESTful web services, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS

Ø  Experience with server side and client side MVC frameworks such as React, Angular or Backbone

Ø  Exposure to CI, automated testing, and agile development methods

Ø  Ability to contribute to design and architecture.

Ø  Strong communication skills
