Required Skills and Experience:
Proficient in various vendor's (HDS, EMC, etc) storage platform technologies (SAN/NAS/FLASH) including architecture, operational procedures related to management and monitoring of various storage software/hardware components.
Must have working experience with HDS (VSP, HUS-VM, HUS series and AMS) and EMC VNX series.
Experience in implementing local recovery and disaster recovery
Experience in managing FC/FCoE Switches – Cisco MDS series
Advance knowledge of SAN best practices for VMware, Windows and Linux operating system.
Expert understanding SAN technology, Tiered Storage, Dynamic pool, performance tuning, etc.
Understanding of latest I/O technologies including 10Gb Ethernet, PCoE, PCIe, etc…
Expertise in qualifying HBAs, solid state drives and storage subsystems.
