Location: San Jose, CA (Locals Only)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

IT DevOps Contractor

IT / Sys admin  San Jose, California

Responsibilities: 

• Work with minimal supervision
• Utilize programming and system management skills to help automate tasks to improve the efficiency of Cavium's IT processes
• Investigate and implement innovative solutions to replace manual operating processes with scripts and applications.
• Automate and integrate multiple applications using Scripts and API
• Consolidate, improve and manage IT web/Twiki
• Work with Nagios and other monitoring scripts and integration.
• Write scripts and applications for reporting and alerting
• Support Engineering tools like git,svn,jira,stash,bufgzilla,etc. 

 
Requirements: 

• Experience with linux shell scripting
• Experience with programming language like perl

 
Plus/Preferred: 

• Experience with Windows Server Active directory scripting Powershell is a plus
• Server monitoring, SNMP, OOB/IPMI management experience a plus
• Experience with, office365, google and azure API programing a plus.
• Apache, php, mysql , perl experience a plus
• Knowledge of SSO and two factor authentication a plus
• Experience using configuration management software like CFEngine, Chef, Salt, Puppet a plus
