Position               : Java/J2EE Solutions Architect

Location               : Bethesda, MD  (Onsite Interview)

Duration              : 12 months

Immediate opening for a Java/J2EE Solutions Architect supporting a technical services company that specializing in custom application development located in Bethesda, MD for a 12+ Months contract.

 

The Solutions Architect will be expected to strategically design, develop, and implement the architecture and technology models for enterprise-level applications and systems. This position is a long term rolling contract with the compensation range of $80-90/hour. Please see below for specific skillsets and responsibilities.

 

Required:

• Minimum 10 years' experience creating Architecture models and roadmaps that span the Technology, Application and Data layers for complex, high-available systems in J2EE, Mobile, COTS and/or Mainframe environments.
• Experience of large scale customer data systems, including but not limited to CRM, MDM, CDI, and Digital Marketing Profiles.
• Ability to lead the architecture effort, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders to gain solution consensus for complex business initiatives.
• Ability to effectively document, make and rationalize technical decisions and communicate with impact the essential parts of the architecture through models and views.

 

Preferred:

• Experience authoring IT standards, frameworks and patterns across the Technology, Application and Data architecture domains
• Experience in Customer data systems in the hospitality industry.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic IT technologies and related processes, procedures, and decision support.
• Experience in varied technologies (e.g. distributed computing, reactive architectures, microservices, APIs, Open Source, etc.)
• Experience in project planning and management
• Extensive experience in multiple technical infrastructure design areas and in technology management.
