Hiring for Jr. SQL Developer (SSIS) for Pittsburgh, PA || Face to Face Interview

Role                       :               Jr. SQL Developer (SSIS)
Location               :               Pittsburgh, PA
Duration              :               6+ Months
Interview            :               Phone then Face to Face  
 

it is not a senior level role. 2-3 years of experience would be fine.

 

Job Requirement/Responsibilities

·         Microsoft Management Studio Version 2008 or higher

o   Determining what data must be returned to the application and writing queries for it

o   Optimizing any existing queries to speed up performance

o   Reviewing current database design and making suggestions for better performance

o   Creating table indexes that optimize query speeds

·         SQL Server Data Tools (BIDS 2012) – SSIS Packages

 

Needs to have a detailed understanding of the following:

o   SQL syntax, complex queries, stored procedures, etc.

o   Control Flows

o   Error logging

o   Data Flows

o   Lookups

o   Derived Columns

o   Data Conversions

o   Aggregates

o   Expressions

·         Needs to have a skill level of identifying and correcting performance issues within SSIS packages
