I am working on the IT - Web Developer Position

 

Position Title            : IT - Web Developer

Location                   :13625 Technology Dr. Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344

Duration                   : 6 months Contract

Start Date                 : Asap 

 

Description:       

(Name of team, size of team, etc.)

·                 4 developers who provide support to a Web Portals Development team of 80 Developers, testers and System Analysts. 

 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

·         Core team member involved with Continuous Integration / Delivery evolution as part of migration towards large scale Dev OPs

·         Utilize Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release and XL TestView to Auto deploy, run, monitor and provide feedback for Automated Test suite

·         Merge code from 7 - 10 scrum teams into an integration branch (Moving toward fully automated within GIT)

·         Help setup and verify test data with Backend services. Verification should occur at least nightly and reported in easily consumable manner.

·         Help establish POC to maximize efficiencies of Automated Testing, while reporting ourages to developers in a timely manner.

·         Ensure the stability of Development Servers

·         Maintain the GIT Source Code Management process.

·         Resolve / assist with Security vulnerability resolution based on Static and Dynamic code analysis.

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

·         Jenkins, GIT, XL Deploy, XL Release, Java, JavaScript

 

What skills/attributes are a must have?

·                 4+ years of application design and development experience

·                 Experience with Dev Ops, Automated Testing and CI/CD

·                 Experience delivering technology solutions to meet business needs

·                 Experience with Java, JavaScript

·                 Proven success using and driving a repeatable, iterative software development methodology

·                 Track record of completing software development projects on-time and on-budget

·                 Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence business leadership and technologists

·                 Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of equivalent experience

 

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

·         Experience delivering Web based technology solutions

·         Experience with Test Driven Development tools such as Selenium/Eclipse, UFT/QTP, Cucumber/Gherkins, TestNG, Junit, Load Runner, ALM

·         Experience with Spring, REST Services, WSDL, SOAP, XML Schemas, JDBC, Adobe CQ5

·         Experience with HTML, WebSphere, Hibernate, JQuery, Apache Experience with Web Security Experience with Spring Tool Suite, IBM RAD

·         Experience with offshore resources

·         Experience with Agile Software Development

·         Knowledge of the healthcare industry
