Role: Unix Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 6- 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

·         Able to create, develop, validate, modify, understand shell scripts within the Unix environment Able to work variable logic and error handling within the script

·         Hands on experience in  Solaris 10/11, Linux Administration Provide L2 level support for UNIX Operations Responsible for some architecture and implementation/operational services of the enterprise including Building Servers, Configuring, Tuning, Debugging & Ongoing Operational Support

·         OS/Kernel Patching for Solaris & Linux with LU disk & satellite server with DRD clone disk

·         Scheduled rotational on-call Submit weekly base/project level time tracking and status reports

·         OS Recovery procedures like Ignite recover for HPUX & PXE for Linux High Priority Incident tickets related
