Job Title : Pega Systems Architect
Location : Fort Collins, CO or Reston, VA
Duration : 11+Months Contract
Need Candidates that have a public trust or have the ability to obtain one or a secret clearance.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience supporting software/hardware development efforts
At least 1 year of specific experience as a Pega SA.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders
Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of a technical lead
Solid Object-Oriented coding experience using Java, Python, C# or C++
Experience with web application architectures and Model-View-Controller design pattern
Experience with User Interface (UI) code manually reading and writing Javascript, HTML and CSS (specifically HTML5 and CSS3)
Strong Object-Oriented design skills
Strong understanding of relational database design concepts
Experience in PRPC version 7.1.x
Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum
