Skills Required:

·         Cordova mobile application framework

·         PhoneGap

·         Mobile authentication / authorization from a client and server side perspective (OAUTH2, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), SAML, etc.

·         JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Single Page Application (SPAs) frameworks (specifically AngularJS but not a requirement) CSS frameworks such as (specifically Bootstrap but not a requirement)

 

 

The Mobile Web Developer will be part of a team to design and develop mobile web applications and components for the client's external customers.

The resource will work in the company's new high tech mobile development lab using Open concept software development practices and LEAN methods.

Ideally the candidate would be familiar with Cordova mobile application framework as well as other current mobile and web technologies.

Mobile App is for external customer. It is sold to all external customers.

After the trade show, the mobile development team will continue to improve the application.

 

Responsibilities of Mobile Developer Submitting mobile applications to the various app stores (Apple, Google) Mobile authentication / authorization from a client and server side perspective (OAUTH2, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), SAML, etc.

(a plus) Cordova (PhoneGap)-Cordova (PhoneGap) plugins (provide hardware integration, e.g.

Phone dialing, barcode / QR scanning, media capture, etc.) Hybrid mobile application development, where some aspects of the App's UI are native and others use a WebVeiw or Cordova / PhoneGap Adapting and creating web applications specifically targeted at mobile devices (phone and tablet) Taking high fidelity (Photoshop/ illustrator) mocks and truing into implementation (with or without tying into JavaScript layer)

 

Requirements of Mobile Developer: Cordova Framework (desired) Various mobile platforms Experience in an Agile Development environment Must have experience working in a fast-paced, high demand environment.

Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) Single Page Application (SPAs) frameworks (specifically AngularJS but not a requirement) CSS frameworks such as (specifically Bootstrap but not a requirement)

 

Desired skills of Mobile Developer:

CSS Pre-Processors such as Less Responsive Design techniques and implementations.

Platform / OS / browser differences and solutions NoSQL databases (PouchDB a plus) JavaScript testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine) Debugging web applications Comfortable with using Open Source methods and models Comfortable with Git as source control Node.js and NPM, specifically for dependency managements and tooling Task runners such as Gulp or Grunt Tool for web development such as auto-prefixer, UglifyJS, JSHint Mobile authentication / authorization from a client and server side perspective (OAUTH2, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), SAML, etc.

(a plus) Beacon API's Design HTML
