We are addressing an opening for MDM Data Architect job requirement at, San Ramon, CA at Bank of West through a known contact. This is an immediate opening.

 

Responsibilities

Develop data strategy that fits with the Data Warehouse Standards and the overall strategy of the Bank

· Able to translate the requirements into DWH/BI/Analytic solutions

 

Provide high performance DWH/BI solutions and implementing them on various databases using cutting edge technology in ETL, Analytical and BI tools

· Ability to architect Master Data Management solution and provide business, governance and technical recommendations

 

Provide recommendations for data security, data governance practices, data management best practices, standards & guidelines

Engage with business and IT stakeholders to understand master data requirements and current constraints

Perform Data profiling, scalability of end-to-end Integration processes, multi-dimensional SQL queries

Provide extensive technical, strategic advice and guidance to Senior Managers and technical resources

Required experience

 

Banking industry experience

10+ years of experience in implementing Data Management solutions

8+ years of experience primarily as Data Architect (DWH/BI/Analytics)

5+ years of Informatica MDM implementation experience (Must be Informatica)

Experience in designing architecture and technology components for MDM implementations

Provides the design approach and parameters for systems in the MDM eco-system – search, data quality tool, portal, workflow, etc.,

5+ year of hands-on experience in developing conceptual, logical and physical data model using tools like ERWin or similar tools

Must have expertise in data quality, data profiling, data analysis, master data management, data Integration, data archival and its migration processes.

Strong database knowledge is required in any of the databases like Oracle, MS-SQL Server

Exposure to any of the ETL tools like Informatica, Hyperion, SSIS etc.

Experience in a Services Oriented Architecture and/or an Events Driven Architecture 

Nice to have's

· Hands-on experience working in Denodo (data virtualization technology)
