POSITION: Core Java J2EE Developer

LOCATION: NYC, NY

DURATION: , 6 months

Rate : $600/day (extended hours)

 

LOCAL TO NYC AND FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW AND MUST HAVE EXP WITH SYBASE

 

SYBASE EXPERIENCE, but they would take someone with similar database knowledge, provided they have basic database development skills.

 

·         It is neither distributed nor multithreaded environment using Java 7.  The J2EE component is mainly pertain to JSP, Servlets and JavaScript libraries.

·         They need to be able to develop API from scratch mainly for integration

·         They do not use SOAP or RESTful web services.

·         Development environment is about 20% Sybase, 80% Java

·         They run Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 15.7

Candidates should have 5-7 years of development experience.

We are currently the only agency working on this role, but that could change if we don't send good candidates.

 

We are currently looking for a new person in the team with the following skill set:

o          Sybase database development

o          Core Java / J2EE

o          Front end technologies: Tomcat server, experience with java script library and JSP

o          Experience with generating excel/word documents using Java would be a good plus
