Role: DevOps Engineer/SME
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
Job description:
Client is looking to hire a Devops Engineer/SME to join the Technology, Design and Integration practice. He should be able work independently as well as lead a team of Devops specialist based on the client needs.
Qualification Required:
· At least 10-12 years' experience in .Net based systems with the last 2-3 years working as Devops SME implementing Continuous integration/Delivery and Deployment in a large enterprise.
· Should have a solid understanding of Devops best practices, approaches and methodologies.
· Should have hands on experience on SCM tools (Team Foundation Server , Visual Studio Team Service, GitHub) build management tools(NAnt/MSBuild/Gradle/Gulp) and implemented Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline using Jenkins.
· Should possess expert knowledge and have hands on experience in in configuration management tool – Puppet/Chef . Preferred experience in Puppet
· Should have expert knowledge in dynamic environment provisioning using Azure stack for on-premise as well as on cloud.
· Should have implemented complete end to end CI/CD pipeline starting with integration of unit test cases with automated build, to implementing code quality checks, to provisioning environment, to automating the integration/functional/performance testing, to deploying it to various environments.
· Should have experience setting up centralized logging and monitoring on Application Insights, Release management, including Nagios and Microsoft Operations Manager
· Experience with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Team services for Application LifeCycle management.
