Role: Cloud Devops

Location: Redmond, WA and Middletown, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

1.       Experience in Linux Administration

2.       Openstack -  Compute and Storage

3.       Automation – Python & Bash.

 

Job Description:

 

•         Strong Linux skill set, specifically for Ubuntu and Redhat. Capable of administrative tasks and complex troubleshooting

•         Demonstrate expertise in Linux Administration

•         Experience in Per, Shell scripting and Python

•         Experience with Automation tools: Puppet, Chef, Ansible

•         Strong experience with virtualization technologies, primarily KVM and VMWare

•         Experience with container-based technologies such as LXC, LXD and Docker

•         Working knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef

•         Experience or exposure to the Openstack platform and its associated modules

•         Experience with enterprise storage from vendors including HP, EMC,  Netapp , and Dell. Additional experience with AFA deployments a plus. Experience with Ceph a plus

•         Significant experience with common server hardware from vendors such as HP, Dell, and IBM

•         Extensive scripting skill set, ideally with Python and Bash. Experience scripting against RESTful APIs a plus

•         Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructures and of certificate deployment/troubleshooting

•         SDN related experience a plus, including technologies like SRIOV, DPDK, Contrail, Open day light, and Netconf
